Welcome once again to Blaxunshine 6
Pack Cinema where the awards are chillin on ice ready to be served up
to this week's winners for the week of L.
Things got a little side tracked this
past week & didn't get to as many movies as I hoped to w/ only 10
watched but there are a number of reasons for that. First off I fell
asleep while watching Logan's Run. I thought that I only nodded out
for a moment but it turned out that I missed about a half of an hour
of it so I had to watch it again. That was really unfortunate on my
behalf because it wasn't all that great & I found it a bit over
rated. The fact that it is being remade (other then they remake
everything) is lost on me...maybe I just didn't have my crackers out
of the 70s cheese.
As well Blaxunshine is now on
blogtalkradio & I ended up doing a number of shows on the weekend
so instead of the orgy of film I usually watch on Friday &
Saturday I was editing music files & was on the air. It's good
though because besides film music has always been one of my life time
interests. I went to school briefly for radio & television &
for a few years I DJ'd in adult clubs to pay the rent & student
loan. Looking back @ my time behind the mic it was probably the best
job I ever had but I didn't stay because it really felt like I was
going no where plus the violence in the club was increasing w/ the
arrival of bike gangs. Truthfully I got out when the getting was
good because the other foot did drop w/ violent incidence @ the club
which could have cost me my life or @ least a good beating. As well
when the smoking ban went into effect business dropped off like
crazy. Ive been back a few times since & it's a shell of its
former self. Going there makes me long for the days of packed houses
partying w/ close to 2 dozen strippers & the feature attraction
(who half the time was a porn star). For a young man in his 20s it
was actually good shit to be a part of & I wouldn't have traded
anything in the world for taking pictures of lesbians my first couple
days there...but it burns you out.
So anyways..there is now Blaxunshine_6-Pack-Radio ..for a little while anyways if you want
to check that shit out. Im pretty green @ talking once again &
Im not the personality I once was. A lot more laid back now.
Going to get things rolling here in a

I actually went to see the surviving
members of Lynyrd Skynyrd play w/ Ted Nuggent once but left almost
before it started. The sound was terrible in our crummy arena &
once the bands started they closed the beer stands. I was fucking
pissed right off. I had planned on tying one on & rockin out so
after Nuggent played Stranglehold I fucked off, went to Don Cherry's
(which was w/in walking distance), watched the hockey game, drank
pints & ate chicken until my heart was content.
Watching that clip right now &
having a beer @ home was better then being @ the area.
Gonna start serving them up in a moment
but first a trip to my own personal beer stand..& thankfully no
line ups @ the washroom.
